I can't stop laughing. Having a rock style track with these lyrics is hysterically funny to me for some reason.

This one could use a bit of work, at some points in the song everything's walking over your background sidechaining, and throughout most of the song there's quite a bit of clipping. The sound design seems fairly solid, though.

I really like that guitar at 6:53. I'm unsure if it's actually meant to be the melody or not, but there's this synth I can barely hear the background nearly hiding behind the percussion throughout the track. I won't deny that your percussion programming is good, but it doesn't sound like it varies nearly as much as it could, and the samples it uses sound like they were built around for this track rather than used as a part of it.

Overwhelming my listeners with shit have never been my style. I make music not noises. Thanks for the review.

The arrangement for the melodies in this extremely satisfying. The dubstep portions on the other hand... it's more interesting to listen to the melodic part than the dubstep part. The dubstep parts feel like they're trying their hardest to be interesting, but don't feel like they have any impact.

This is well mixed and mastered, nothing is walking over the other elements. The percussion that comes in at 2:00 does feel a bit out-of-place at first due to how abrupt it is to me. A large portion of the piece also sounds a bit repetitive.

This is really good, that you can keep my attention for a full 5 minutes with the beat, sounds and variation is something not many tracks have done. The ending sounded really screechy and headache-inducing to me, though.

It sounds much more classical than your usual style. It does sound pretty, but it doesn't feel like there's any emotion behind it to me except in a few spots, unlike your other pieces.

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

I think what you're reacting to is that it's more rigidly structured than my otherwise quite free pieces! It's more about a collective emotion than an individual one, which also is part of that difference, I think. I was a bit surprised, since a few people seemed to think this sounded a bit like a love song, which certainly isn't the point :p
Thanks for the review!

I really like how everything has it's own volume level, but can still be heard with the other instruments.

Maajjyyn responds:

it take me a while, i'm very obsessive with the mix. Thank's!

This is... truly incredibly varied. I do think your bass walks over some of the other aspects that can barely be heard during most of the dubstep portions, but that may just be me.

I really enjoy how much depth this song has, even though it's only two instruments and two singers.

etherealwinds responds:

Thank you very much! There's just the one singer, I'm singing both the melody and the harmonies ^ ^
